"Disgorged in June 2017, Vergnon's 2010 Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Expression is showing brilliantly, unwinding in the glass with aromas of dried white flowers, honeycomb, candied peel, yellow orchard fruit and praline. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied and vinous but precise, with racy acids, chalky structuring extract and a long, beautifully defined finish. This is one of the finest wines I've tasted from Vergnon to date.. Drink 2019 - 2029"

"The 2010 Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Expression Grand Cru is a blend taken mostly from Mesnil, with dollops of fruit from Oger and Avize. Bright and focused, the Expression speaks with a real sense of power. Citrus and floral notes are nicely delineated in a Blanc de Blancs that gains added dimension of nuance and precision with time in the glass. The Expression also offers better balance and harmony than the Confidence tasted along side it, which is interesting, as both wines are from the 2010 vintage. Disgorged: June, 2017.
