Alexander Pinot Noir 2015 750ml

The 2014 vintage was exceptional and produced a medium-full bodied wine with a concentrated nose with dense aromas of ripe black berry and cherry fruit infused with liquorice, black plum and nutty oak.

The palate shows a tight, concentrated heart of sweetly ripe black berried fruits with a long and sustained finish underpinned with fine tannins resulting in a rich, vibrant, finely concentrated black-fruited pinot noir with excellent structure.

Partially wild-yeast fermented and barrel-selected from 7 different clones, this wine will cellar for at least 6-7 years. Only 210 cases made. A Gold Medal award at the NZ International Wine Show.
