Batch four of Adelphi's Glenborrodale is now available. This ever popular blended malt (a small selection of undisclosed single malts) is considerably older than the label suggests, with a small proportion of 7 year old added to give the bottling some lively punch from a more youthful malt. Best described as a tray of freshly baked pastries with assorted flavours of tangy orange, lemon curd clotted cream and lashings of salted caramel. The finish is long and with note of rich coffee in the background.
