From a stunning, high-altitude vineyard planted in the 1980s in the heart of Piccadilly Valley, and farmed by friend Sam Virgara.
Tightly wound and distinctly cool-climate, with mouthwatering grapefruit, nectarine and mealy Granny Smith apple, layered with notes of nougat, honeysuckle and spice. The palate is sleek and finely textured, with an almost nettle-like savouriness, while aromas of beeswax and Meyer lemon rind emerge with time. Taut and precise, it finishes long with powerful elegance.
